About the Owner

Esperanza Owner, Cornerstone Children’s Ministry

My name is Esperanza, and I am an early childhood educator and childcare provider with a deep passion for nurturing and educating young children. I am originally from Guatemala and am bilingual in English and Spanish, which allows me to connect with and support diverse families in meaningful ways.

I hold specialized certifications in Infant and Toddler Development, Early Childhood Development, and Early Childhood Career Studies, completed with high honors. I also earned an Associate of Science degree in Social Science Studies with a specialization in Teacher Education and an Associate of Applied Science degree in Early Childhood Development.

I have experience serving as a Childcare Center Director, where I exceeded enrollment expectations by reaching program capacity in a fraction of the projected time. Today, I lead my own childcare program, where I combine my passion for education, child development, and family support to create a nurturing environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive.

Working with children gives me the opportunity to advocate for children, to protect them, to guide them, and ensure they feel safe, valued, and supported. I understand that early childhood is the most precious and important phase of an individual’s life — it is the foundation that shapes who they become in adulthood.

Working with children is not just my profession — it is my calling. I am committed to helping every child build a strong foundation, develop confidence, and prepare for long-term academic and personal success. Their success and achievements are my success and achievements as well!
